Process

Overall, I don't really hate this, but it does feel off. I think the prompt was to convey two sides of yourself. I wanted to show my love of space with a cooler and darker palette to reflect my outward-facing appearance. It didn't match my initial sketch enough to my liking. Then, I tried to make my internal self, or how I see myself. A bubbly fun-loving bear using my favorite colors. I prefer the bear, as I feel like I messed up the face when gluing the paper down. This was by far the most labor-intensive piece of the semester for this class. So many pieces of paper to manage and keep track of. Self portraits are so draining.
