I don't like how this turned out. It was very difficult for me to capture what I wanted. I had this weird idea that each piece in the Character series should be a different material. I wanted this one to be Watercolor. I had this idea of her under a waterfall. My first concepts on the right are horrible. Based on Nyra's original design. I redesigned Nyra two weeks before our Portfolios were due. I had to rework this piece entirely. I painted over the original piece on the right. Nyra looks a lot better, not perfect but a lot better than before. The background was very difficult. I based it on a reference photo of a woman sitting on rocks with a waterfall behind her. I decided to use this and make her reflection in the water a skeleton. If I were to rate it, I'd give it a 2 out of 10.
