Process

Irascil was a name I found for a character when researching for Viglias. I hadn't drawn him before. Then out of nowhere I just decided to go and try to draw whatever came to mind. My first attempt failed miserably but my second attempt which is this works wonderfully. His face came first. No reference or anything. Then I decided that he would wear Roman-style armor. That just came from nowhere and became his defining trait. I was writing him into the later story at the time and he just seemed to fit in perfectly where I wanted him to.
