Dormin #6
Ink, Acrylic
8 x 10 inches

Process
This was part of a series of inkblot drawings I did for my Advanced Drawing class. I based the concept on Kim Diaz Holm's daily ink monster series as I deeply enjoyed his creative process of letting the ink figure out what you wanted to draw. I was playing a lot of Shadow of the Colossus at the time. I wanted to capture Dormin because I viewed him as a very menacing depiction of evil. I wasn't sure if I should give him wings or not so I made it a bit ambiguous whether he has wings or if they are just the background. Turned out okay.
