Battle of Conscience
Watercolor, Acrylic Marker
22 x 30 inches

Process
This was such a fun exercise, I did a grid work on a photograph I took which I have attached on the right, and then painted it using this grid. It was wildly effective. I hadn't used Watercolor since around the 7th grade likely so this was a good refresher. It also led me to follow Scott Christian Sava since he dabbles a lot with gouache and watercolors. I think it turned out great and enhanced the original photo rather than trying to make it realistic. I only used the acrylic marker for the white highlights on the figures and for the stars.
